What is The Cheltenham Wellbeing Festival?
Across 7 days from the 9th – 15th September, you will have the chance to access a wide variety of fitness Classes, Health and Wellness Services, Talks from leading experts, Workshops and Events. Get ready to be inspired, get educated and feel revitalised.
Whether it’s trying a new fitness class, finding an activity group, seeking support on a health issue, achieving more balance, or to simply indulge, the Cheltenham Wellbeing Festival will open the doors to give you the chance to explore every area of health and wellness on your doorstep.
Why is CWF happening?
Despite well-being trends increasing, government research shows that as a nation, we are still facing country-wide concerns for future health and well-being. The CWF aims to motivate change by building a supportive community to encourage greater physical activity, mental support and access to health advice and services in the local area.

How can I join in?
You can take part in our Active pass sessions by purchasing an Active pass here, or attend one of our events or talks by booking your tickets through our website (link here).
What is an Active Pass?
The Active Pass provides an exciting programme of fitness and movement classes that will give you the chance to sample Cheltenham’s best workouts and studios, as well as some exciting festival exclusives. Whether you’re looking to push yourself to new limits, stretch and tone, or move your body in different ways, we have partnered with over 20 fitness clubs, private trainers and studios across Cheltenham guaranteed to raise the heart rate.
Do I need to book class sessions?
Yes. We have limited availability so we strongly advice you pre-book your Active Pass sessions in advance.
Are there walk up sessions?
There will be some walk-in sessions provided which will be announced nearer to the event in September.

What workshops will be running and where?
Our programme of exciting Workshops and Events brings together the very best practitioners, experts, retailers, restaurants, bars, cafes and brands from across Cheltenham. There will be a wide range of exclusive experiences, a chance to learn new skills, and to hear from some of your local experts.

How much does it cost?
A Class Pass costs £21.00 whilst our workshops, events, talks and seminars start from £10 per person up to £110.00 for the more luxurious experiences.
Can I buy tickets on the day?
There may be some availability left on the day, but book early to avoid disappointment.

Yes. There will be a selection of free events available to book and some walk-up tickets available. See our

Are there any age restrictions?
Each individual event will detail any age restrictions at this year’s festival. All event content is bespoke to its subject and therefore may not be suitable for certain age ranges. Please check for details.
In addition, the Active Pass is only open to people age 18+ and each and every participant will need to sign a health and safety form on arrival at the specific studio.
What’s the location?
We have a host of venue partners, studios and sessions being held across Cheltenham detailed on each specific event or class schedule. Please refer to the listing for details.
What are the opening times?
Events will run from Mon-Sun. Each event start and end time will vary. Please see schedules for details.
Can I bring my own food and drink?
You may bring food and drinks to your Active Class sessions and water to any workshops, events and seminars, but no food must be consumed in the talks and seminar theatres.
What if I can't take part on the day?
All tickets are non-refundable or transferable.
What if I need to cancel my ticket?
Please refer to See tickets terms and conditions for their cancellation policy.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket?
Please ensure that you bring a copy of your ticket to your event digitally or in print.
What do I wear?
Individual studios will specify what you must wear for the Active Pass sessions. For talks and seminars there is no dress code.
Will there be showers and changing rooms?
The individual Active Partners will have their own facilities. Please refer to their individual websites for details.
Will I have to sign a consent form?
Yes. Each participant in our Active Pass sessions will be required to sign a consent form at the point of arrival to your session. Please speak to your studio for more details.
Does the venue have wheelchair access?
Each venue will have different restrictions. Our core talks and seminars all have wheelchair access. Active Class Partners will need to be contacted directly for details.
Do I need to bring cash?
For some events it is advisable to bring cash should you wish to purchase goods on the day.
Your security and safety
Your security and safety during the event are our priority. We work closely with every venue and local authority in the development of plans for our events.
Customer Service staff may approach you to assist you outside, at entry or inside the event
Staff will be clearly able to be identified
As a visitor, you are able to record your own visit to the event, for your personal use, but we ask you to respect the privacy of other visitors who may not want to be filmed.
